The Marianists pursue a better, more justice world in a variety of ways. Our reach includes efforts to preserve and protect the environment, make quality education more available and hold corporations more socially accountable.
Marianist Environmental Education Center
The Marianist Environmental Education Center is based on the campus of Mount Saint John in Dayton, Ohio, and includes a nature preserve of more than 100 acres.
MEEC offers a variety of outreach and education services to meet its mission of “restoring communities of land and people.” Learn more.
Marianist Urban Students Program
The Marianist Urban Students Program makes it possible for high-potential students from urban elementary schools to attend a Marianist high school at dramatically reduced tuition rates.
MUSP gives these boys and girls the academic, social and financial support they need to achieve success in high school and set a course for a bright adulthood. Learn more.
Socially responsible investing
By becoming shareholders in targeted corporations, the Marianists join with like-minded organizations to advocate for social justice in areas such as health care, water rights, climate change and human trafficking.
As shareholders, the Marianists are able to push corporations to implement policies regarding board member diversity, just governance and human rights.
The Marianists are active in the Interfaith Center for Corporate Responsibility.
