Gracious God, once again this day reminds us of the many blessings we receive from You. We thank you for the gifts of family, friends and for the food before us. Bless all we receive so that it uplifts our hearts, minds, spirits and bodies to do Your will.
God, we are mindful that You call us to share; to give to others so that we may help establish here on earth Your reign of peace and justice.
We remember those who have gone before us and are grateful for their examples of faith, strength and inspiration that carry forward into our lives and those of others.
We raise up to You all people in the world, especially those who are poor, hungry, homeless and downtrodden. May the grace we have received through You lead us to reach out in service to these and to all Your people.
We say our prayer in the name of Jesus, our Lord and brother, Who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen.
