Card description: White card stock with matte finish. One Year Enrollment Card. Left inside verse: For Peace. Mary, Queen of Peace save us all, who have so much trust in you, from wars hatred, and oppression. Make us all learn to live in peace, and educate ourselves for peace, do what is demanded by justice and respect the rights of every person, so that peace may be firmly established. Amen. Pope John Paul II (1920-2005) You have been given the gift of enrollment in the Marianist Spiritual Alliance for one year. Right inside verse: Praying that Mary's presence will give you peace. Back of the card: The Marianist Family is comprised of the Daughters of Mary Immaculate (Marianist Sisters), the Society of Mary (Marianist brothers and priests) and Lay Marianists. Marianists are especially dedicated to uplifting people through education but also serve in other types of ministries worldwide. The Marianists were founded nearly 200 years ago in France at the end of the French Revolution by Blessed William Joseph Chaminade. He saw in Mary, the Mother of Christ, a model for discipleship that can show us how to welcome the Spirit of God into our own lives. Supporters of the Marianist Mission's ministry make possible our foreign and domestic ministries, enable the training of Marianist novices and seminarians, and provide care for our elderly and infirm Marianists.
