Building Communities to Advance Justice
Advancing justice is an integral part of every ministry of the Marianist Province of the United States. In our schools, parishes, retreat centers and social ministries, the Province works to create communities that work for justice, peace, liberation and reconciliation.
The Office of Peace and Justice supports and communicates the Province’s current social justice activities as well as initiates actions that work in solidarity with the poor and marginalized. The Marianists continue the legacy of their founder, Blessed William Joseph Chaminade, who had a deep concern for the poor, and worked to change the structures that kept them that way.
