CENTRAL CATHOLIC RETREAT FOCUSES ON MARIANIST FAMILY

Fr.
John Thompson, who directed the retreat |
Fr.
John Thompson led a faculty retreat at Central Catholic in San Antonio
in August
with the theme, “Building a Marianist Community.” Through
song, storytelling and sharing, the community was led through sessions
on the founders of the Marianist Family and elements of a Marianist
community. After concelebrating at the school Eucharist for the Feast
of the Assumption, Fr. John addressed each division. He spoke on the
importance of relying upon Jesus and Mary during the high school years
and how Central is connected to a network of national and international
Marianist sponsored schools through living out the “Characteristics
of a Marianist Education.”
