students had a 100 percent pass mark on national exams and were
ranked first
in Zambia. More recently, Bro. Ray ministered and lived at the
Bro. Vincent House (Marianist scholasticate) in Nairobi. The brothers

ministries, Marianist Lay Formation Initiative, Marianist LIFE, and the three
Marianist universities invited 22 young adults from across the Marianist family
to gather for a weekend of prayer, education, networking and fun. The goal
was to foster leadership, formation and awareness of Marianist ministries.
Representatives from NACMS and several lay Marianists provided their personal
insights on being a Marianist. As a next step, the forum participants formed
a Marianist Young Adult Committee to further increase the presence of young
