Matthew Almeida, 45, died Aug. 2, 2008, in San Francisco. May he rest in peace. Matthew was a 1981 graduate of Archbishop Riordan High School and a former aspirant for the Province of the Pacific. He also worked for many years for the Archbishop Riordan High School drama department.

James DePriest, 58, who died Aug. 18, 2008, in St. Louis. May he rest in peace. James assisted with odd jobs at the Maryland Ave. and Lindell communities in St. Louis.

Helen Fogarty, 81, died July 31, 2008. May she rest in peace. Helen was the cousin of Bro. Edward Unferdorfer (Cape May, N.J.).

Ann Patricia Galfano, died Aug. 6, 2008. May she rest in peace. Ann Patricia was the sister of Bro. Michael Galvin (Boston).

Grandfather of Bro. Darwin Joseph (District of India), died Aug. 9, 2008. May he rest in peace.

Frank Kopczyk, who died Aug. 13, 2008. May he rest in peace. Frank was the brother-in-law of Bro. Tony Pistone (West Hills, Calif.)

Scott Ripberger, who died recently. May he rest in peace. Scott was the cousin of Bro. Brian Halderman (Case Maria, San Antonio).

Rev. Carl Starkloff, SJ, died Aug. 14, 2008. May he rest in peace. Rev. Carl was a professor at Regis College, Toronto, and taught several Marianist seminarians.

Roger Utz, 82, died Aug. 6, 2008 in Denton, Texas. May he rest in peace. Roger was a Marianist Affiliate.
