Joe Barnett, Jr., who died Jan. 9, 2008. May he rest in peace. Joe was the father of Sandy Barnett, who works on web projects for the Office of Communications.

Catherine Jansen, who died recently. May she rest in peace. Catherine was the sister–in-law of Fr. Anthony Jansen (District of Eastern Africa).

Marine Marie Lauterbach, 20, who was pregnant and tragically killed in North Carolina recently. May she rest in peace. Marie was the daughter of Mary Lauterbach, an employee at the University of Dayton.

Janice Russell who died on Jan. 12, 2008, from pancreatic cancer. May she rest in peace. Janice was the sister-in-law of Fr. Jim Russell (Governor’s Island, Huntsville, Ohio).

Sgt. John Salazar, who died Jan. 12, 2008, in San Antonio. May he rest in peace. John was a longtime teacher and JROTC instructor at Central Catholic Marianist High School.
