NACMS Intern

The North American Center for Marianist Studies (NACMS)
is now accepting applications for its internship. The Intern will work at
The Marianist Center in Philadelphia,
PA. The position is open to
both lay Marianists and vowed religious.
Internship applicants should be available to work 40 hours a week. Some
evening and weekend work is probable. Compensation includes salary and
benefits. The first year will begin on February 1, 2009, and
conclude on January 31, 2010. Given satisfactory performance during
the first year, a second year of internship is available and preferred.
The intern will be mentored by NACMS staff for studies in Marianist
history, Marianist spirituality, and the interface between things
Marianist and contemporary Church and culture.
This is a great opportunity to build or bolster understanding of
Marianist life. Interns also have the chance to share their gifts and
talents with the Marianist world. Past interns have assisted with
presenting Marianist programs, editing, writing, and researching.
