• An expanded Board including Jim Rider as the voice of experience and wisdom, Emelina Marsh as the expander of diversity and Dan Malechuk as the bearer of youthful exuberance;
• A broadened list of MFM Family and individual weekend programs;
• A rebuilt Guardian Angels Building to serve our needs for more sleeping rooms, meeting rooms and office space;
• Increased recognition and involvement from the Raleigh Diocese;
• A CFL Center Director who has survived her first summer retreat season!

We also have many challenges ahead, notably:

• Reconstruction and refurbishing of the sleeping rooms in the South (Chapel) building;
• Recruiting new families to attend our programs;
• Obtaining new/expanded sources of financial support (grants, endowments, a white knight?);

Through it all we look to God’s grace and your support to keep alive the message of hospitality, community, holiness of families, and a closer walk with God. These are at the base of Marianist spirit.

It should go without saying that the Board asks your prayers. We also ask you to consider how you will support this family ministry. We ask you to think about volunteering for work weekends, renewing your financial contribution, serving as staff for CFL retreats, recruiting participants and contributors, being a member of a committee. Please look at the powerful experience that you and your family had at CFL and work with us to offer that experience to others.
