Special Edition of CFL High Tidings

Dear Supporters of the Marianist Family Ministry,

In the 2 prior newsletters, I thanked our staff and the Board of Directors for their devotion and service to the Marianist Family Ministry. In this last edition, prior to the Annual Appreciation Weekend on 9/6/08, I would like to now extend a heartfelt thanks to all volunteers who have supported, in any way, the CFL Retreat Center. You have been the backbone behind allowing the ministry it  to reach out to a multitude of people for a variety of reasons, always keeping the mission and vision of the ministry alive. We always knew family was held sacred when we drove up to the front door and left energized to spread the word.

Those who joined us in our efforts, over the years,  were the Marianist religious, some who lived on the Island and some who came from as far away as Ireland to share their time and talents. We are forever grateful for their presence and the Marianist charism they modeled. Praying with them was a privilege.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, I want to let everyone know we appreciated the dedication and willingness to serve. In good faith we ask for your prayers, and will keep you in ours, as we begin another year of service moving the ministry forward.
