School Profile
One hundred fifty years of strong tradition and educational excellence set the foundation for Chaminade-Julienne Catholic High School’s current downtown Dayton location. The charisms of the school’s founding orders (Society of Mary and Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur) inspire the school’s leadership, curriculum, and programming. The Board of Trustees, comprised of lay leaders and representatives of both orders, collaborates with the school’s administration in all efforts aimed at establishing the school as a leader for Catholic secondary education. Chaminade-Julienne’s 940 students come from all over the greater Dayton metropolitan area and represent a diverse range of racial, religious, and socio-economic backgrounds.

Summary of Position
C-J is seeking an outstanding person to plan and implement the school’s fundraising efforts, including annual giving, endowments and major gifts, planned giving, student fundraising, alumni relations, and grant development.

Reporting Relationships
The Director of Development works with and reports directly to the President and is a liaison to the Development Committee of the Board of Trustees

Qualifications
Candidates should possess a BA or BS in business, marketing, sales, or related field; 4-7 years experience in fundraising and development with direct solicitation or alternate sales management experience; highly developed verbal and written communication skills; and the ability to work collaboratively with others. Certified fund raising executive status is preferred.

Compensation
Salary is commensurate with education and experience. Benefits include health, life, dental, and disability insurance, Archdiocese of Cincinnati pension plan, and supplemental contributory 403(b) plan with school match.
