Are you a young adult in the Marianist Family (or do you know a young adult)
interested in justice?
Consider joining us for an Adele
Social Justice Project Immersion (ASJP) Weekend: We
offer regional weekend immersion retreats for young adults (ages 22-40) that
focus on the relationship between our Marianist charism and social justice.
The weekend includes time for personal reflection and group sharing, an exploration
of the neighborhood and its issues, an opportunity for a service or advocacy
experience. These retreats also help to build a “passion” for the
mission as identified by participants. Participants may choose to be part of
an ongoing community after the weekend.
The next ASJP
Immersion will be held in Washington DC, October 6-8, 2006
Arrival time: 7:00 p.m. on Friday October 6, 2006
Departure/clean-up: 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 8, 2006. If flying, make sure airline
departures are after 5:30 p.m.
Fee: $75.00, we do not want cost to be a barrier in participating; please give
what is affordable.
