MLFI PARTICIPANTS HOLD CLOSING RETREAT IN SAN ANTONIO

From Nov. 4 – 6, Marianist Lay Formation Initiative (MLFI) participants met in San Antonio for their closing retreat. Bro. Steve Glodek and Toni Mesina presented on topics including “community leadership in action” and “challenges and success of community building.” The retreat also included discussions about young adults in the Marianist Family, mentorship and strategic planning. Participants gathered for meals with local Marianist religious, including a luncheon at the Marianist Residence.

MLFI is a yearly formation program designed to form, educate and enliven lay Marianists about the Marianist charism in order to build and support Marianist Lay Communities. The next MLFI formation program will begin April 27, 2012. For information, visit MLFI’s webpage.
