MEEC CELEBRATES WORLD DAY OF PRAYER, PRAIRIE DEDICATION

On Oct. 9, Dayton Marianists celebrated Marianist World Day of Prayer and the 25th anniversary of the prairie restoration at Mount St. John. Hosted by the Marianist Environmental Education Center (MEEC), Queen of Apostles Community (QAC) and the local Marianist Family, the day included a celebration of the Eucharist presided by Fr. Paul Marshall and a panel discussion on The Marianist Family and the Integrity of Creation featuring remarks by Sr. Laura Leming, FMIFr. Marty Solma
and Lay Marianist Maureen O’Rourke. The day concluded with a dedication of the prairie as The Bro. Don Geiger Prairie at Mount St. John and a sign telling its story. Read more about the event.
