VOCATION OFFICE PRODUCES “A DAY IN THE LIFE” VIDEO
|The vocation office has produced a new video, A Day in the Life of a Marianist Novice, which was filmed at the novitiate at Mount Saint John in Dayton. The goals of the video are to introduce young men to Marianist life and help them understand the discernment process and formation program. “The video provides a window into the daily life in one of our formation communities,” said Bro. Tom Wendorf, Province vocation director. “And it provides good insight to what it means to go through a process of discerning God’s call.” The video has been distributed to campus ministry and religion departments of Province secondary schools and universities as well as parishes and retreat centers. Production was made possible by a generous grant from an anonymous donor interested in promoting vocations to the Society of Mary. Assisting with the project were Michael Bittner and Jan Dixon of the Province Office of Communications and the Media Production Group at the University of Dayton.
