“CALL TO ADVANCE JUSTICE” WORKSHOP LAUNCHED

The Marianist Social Justice Collaborative and the Province Office of Justice, Peace and the Integrity of Creation announce the launch of “Marianist Call to Advance Justice.” The program, which includes a two-hour workshop, allows time for affirmation and reflection on social injustice and offers a discernment process for communities that wish to build a more peaceful and just world. The workshop will be available to all communities in the Marianist Family during the next 18 months.

Jim Vogt and I, and all three branches of our U.S. Marianist Family, are eager to share this worthwhile initiative with communities nationwide,” said Brian Reavey, Province assistant for justice, peace and the integrity of creation. “It’s a unique opportunity for communities to reflect and act upon their baptismal and Marianist calls to advance justice locally and globally.”

Lay Marianist and vowed community directors will receive program materials in the next two weeks via email and postal mail.
