NE MARIANIST FAMILY COUNCIL GATHERS FOR BI-ANNUAL MEETING

The Northeast Marianist Family Council held its biannual meeting on Oct. 20 at the Marianist Center in Philadelphia. The council welcomed Jim Vogt and Julie Nagasako of the Marianist Social Justice Collaborative who presented a pilot program, “The Marianist Call to Advance Justice.” The program will be made available to Marianist Family members in the near future.

The council represents five Society of Mary communities and 10 Lay Marianist communities. The council seeks to promote unity and collaboration among all the branches of the Marianist Family in the northeast region of the United States (and with the broader Marianist Family in general) and to make the founders’ vision of “creating a community of communities to change the world” a lived reality.
